ME PAT Xmas Newsletter - December 2013
Good morning, good afternoon or good evening – depending on when you are reading our very first newsletter from ME PAT Services, we are a very unique and family run Portable Appliance Testing business.
As we move into our fifth year we are expanding into new areas and try new ways to further develop our company such as keeping in touch via a simple newsletter with our valued clients and also the many people I have come in contact with through my many years of networking, latterly though ME PAT Services or our sister business McCoy Energy – commercial Fuel Cards, but more about this at another time. Yes I will admit I am a “network tart” but it is simply the best way of developing excellent relationships with potential and eventual business clients….
I hope to keep you informed with the latest news and stories from the world of Electrical Compliance and Health and Safety, but if this gets to be too dull or cause you to be too terrified to switch on an appliance in the office, then I hope we can lighten the mood with a funny, possibly controversial cartoon.
Lastly, if I may indulge you in a secret personal ambition of mine [ok not for long…] of publicising an alternative local history book of which I am hoping will launch some time next year. Very briefly in my last year of schooling a “very” long time ago as an uneducated, unkempt, spotty bespectacled youth [no change there then except the youth bit…], where I was encouraged to do a local history project as part of my final exam grading. This resulted to the surprise of many people including me of a quite impressive [for the time] detailed history book of Newcastle upon Tyne. So fast forwarding to the present with the help of my ex journalist friend, Chris Rooney of Writing Works from the Evening Chronicle, we are hoping to refresh this with some extra “touristy” bits added and get it onto the shelf. We have no idea if it will sell or not but if you’d like any more information then I would be more than happy to help, either way I will offer an update and snip bits as time goes by under the “and finally” section of the newsletter.
Finally before I close I would really appreciate any help you can give in passing this onto any friends, family, work colleagues or business partners that may be interested in subscribing; however never wanting to offend anyone there will always be an “unsubscribe” button at the very bottom of every newsletter.
So may I take this moment to first thank you for your patience and also to wish you, your family and your work colleagues...?
